Automobile wire specification standards mainly include the following aspects:
1. Wire cross-sectional area: common specifications for automotive wires are 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 4.0, 6.0 square millimetres, etc. Different specifications of the wire have different load current values, used for different power electrical equipment wires.
2. Colour identification: car wire colour identification should be in line with the relevant standards, such as monochrome wire insulation surface colour is black, multi-colour wire to the phase line colour is the main colour, the rest of the colour for the auxiliary colour.
3. Insulation thickness: the thickness of the insulation layer of automotive wires should meet the requirements to ensure that the insulating properties of the wire in the process of use.
4. High-temperature performance: automotive wires should have high-temperature performance, able to work properly in the high-temperature environment of the automotive engine compartment.
5. Flame retardant performance: automotive wires should have flame retardant properties, can effectively prevent the wire from burning in fire and other situations, reduce the possibility of fire.
6. Elasticity retention performance: automotive wires should have good elasticity retention performance, able to maintain its shape and performance in the car vibration and bending and other situations.
7. Corrosion resistance: car wire should have corrosion resistance, can resist the car inside the corrosive substances such as acid and alkali erosion.
These standards are essential for maintaining the functionality and safety of a vehicle's electrical system, ensuring that automotive wires can withstand the demanding conditions they are subjected to throughout the lifespan of the vehicle.
